John Tran is an Actuarial Analyst for Pacific Life in Newport Beach, CA, currently on their Product Development team, where he helps refine, develop, and innovate life insurance products, balancing products’ profitability and competitiveness. He grew up in Anaheim Hills and graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2022, majoring in Actuarial Science. Growing up, John developed his leadership and outdoor skills in the Scouting program, earning the rank of Eagle Scout in 2018. In his free time, John enjoys playing board and card games, watching sports and TV shows, and camping under the stars.
